To be completely honest, we started with a bit of discussion, and I was not sure about my choice. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without Annika!
Actually, at the beginning, I was convinced that I didn't need a wedding planner. I thought I had everything under control and already had a clear plan. Then my fiancé discovered Annika Wietzorke's website by chance and persuaded me to at least have an initial consultation with her—luckily!
Even that first meeting was wonderful: warm, personal, loving, and full of great ideas. Annika immediately had a keen sense of who we were and what we wanted. At that point, I knew this was the right fit.
However, the final deciding factor was her little dog Nala, who was still a puppy at the time. When she entered the room, I was completely blown away—and I told Annika with a laugh that she could plan whatever she wanted, I would just stick with the dog.
What Annika then made of it was simply perfect. Our wedding was planned down to the smallest detail and executed with incredible heart. We traveled from the church to the venue in an old historic locomotive – an absolute highlight. The decorations were harmonious, elegant, and exactly our style. Annika even designed a personalized wedding logo for us, which was featured on invitations, menus, and many other details.
Everything went smoothly, calmly, and highly professionally—and at the same time, it was full of love. You could feel how much heart and soul Annika puts into her work at every moment. Our wedding was beautiful, emotional, and perfectly organized. Without Annika, it would certainly never have been so special.
Today—15 years later—I am a registrar and freelance wedding speaker myself. This makes it all the more wonderful for me to now also encounter Annika on a professional level. I really enjoy working with her and am regularly booked for her wedding ceremonies. From my own experience – both personal and professional – I can say that Annika works with the utmost professionalism, great empathy, and an exceptional eye for detail.
